Patrick was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and received his Eagle Scout award at the age of 15. He graduated from Jesuit High School and was the only qualifier for the National Merit Scholar competition from his class. He holds a J.D. degree from the University of California at Davis and a B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley with a Major in History and a Minor in Spanish.
He co-founded McGilvray & Donnelly Financial Services, a thriving Sacramento-based financial services company specializing in individual financial and retirement planning. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
Mr. McGilvray volunteers on the Community Advisory Board for the UC Davis Health System and is the Chair for the Leave A Legacy® charitable giving campaign in the Sacramento, CA region.
Mr. McGilvray he has been involved in Sacramento area real estate investing and property management since 1995 and has deep roots in Northern California stretching back for 5 generations.
He is a former competitive downhill ski racer and cross-country mountain bike racing champion. In the weekends spare time he plays guitar and piano, exercises and spends time with his young daughter. |
